Ways to Help
Ways to help foster and adoptive children
There are over to 4,000 children in the care of the state Department of Children and Families due to abuse, neglect or abandonment. CAFAF and DCF work together to recruit foster families to provide safe, caring homes for children as DCF and the courts plan for the children’s futures.
CAFAF has developed a call-to-action campaign offering the materials and tools to allow community based organizations, such as Girl Scouts, church and civic groups to host a drive or similar project. Your work will make a difference for many foster children by supplying them with basic needs and showing them you care.
Ways to help CAFAF and the families we serve
Monetary contributions to CAFAF will directly support our mission. The donations go toward a variety of needs for the organizations and the families we serve. Monetary donations work well for individuals who want to help but don’t have a lot of time to volunteer.
CAFAF appreciates the community partnerships that we have built and is always pleased to find new partners in businesses, organizations and individuals. Becoming a sponsor is one great way to show the community that you support the wonderful mission of CAFAF.
